What is the warranty and return policy on my chair?

30 Day 100% Satisfaction Guarantee

At BuildMyChair.com by BioFit, we are confident you will be completely satisfied with your custom office chair. If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied, you may return your custom office chair to us, freight paid, for full credit if in new and unused condition. Special orders, including units ordered with special upholsteries are non-returnable.

A return authorization is required for any return. Please contact our Customer Care Department at 800.597.0246 to obtain an authorization number.

If returning your custom office chair, please assure the unit is packed with care and protected for shipment, as any units returned damaged will be issued credit less the cost of shipping damage. Digital photos will be forwarded to document any damage costs assessed to you.

13 Year 24/7 Warranty

BuildMyChair.com by BioFit products are warranted against mechanical or structural failure due to defective material, workmanship, or abnormal wear for 13 years of normal use. Pneumatic cylinders are covered for the functional lifetime of the chair or stool. BioFit reserves the right to recondition or replace any units covered by this guarantee.

Freight and any other consequential damages are not covered; all return shipments require written authorization and must be freight prepaid unless otherwise approved in writing. C.O.M. (customer’s own material) upholstery materials are not covered.

BioFit takes its warranty, repair and maintenance responsibilities very seriously. Efforts by unqualified personnel to perform repairs on seating products can result in dangerous conditions which can lead to serious bodily injury. Any attempt to modify, alter or make unauthorized repairs to BioFit products may not only seriously jeopardize the safety of the user, but will void this warranty in every respect.

How do I use the Chair Configurator?
· Select available chair components and watch them be assembled onto your chair.
· The cost of your chair will be calculated as you select components.
· When you have finished building your custom chair, simply select Add to Cart and proceed to Checkout.
· Your customized office chair will be shipped from our facility within 5 business days.

How soon will I receive my chair?
Custom office chairs are shipped in 5 days or less with minimal assembly required. View the chart below for estimated transit time from our facility.

Does BioFit offer any payment plans or special financing?
Yes. BioFit allows you to spread out the cost for up to three chairs over six consecutive months, letting you allocate money more wisely, while still being able to enjoy the high quality of BioFit today. It’s all part of our affordable, consumer-direct pricing structure, starting as low as $255.

BuildMyChair.com custom chairs are backed by an industry-best 13-year warranty, while warranties of discount chairs sold by office supply stores are normally limited and good only for 1 year or less!
